Trims
There are three trims available for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class the E 350, E 450, and AMG E 53. Each trim comes with its own unique powertrain and can be offered in various styles.
E 350
The base E 350 is only available as a sedan. It is outfitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can output 255 horsepower and 273 pounds of torque and is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard, but four-wheel drive is optional.
As for its features, Hampstead drivers will find plenty inside and out. Several of its features include heated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, an onboard navigation system, automatic emergency braking, and a blind-spot monitor.
E 450
In the next trim up, Southport and New Bern customers will find that the E 450 is similar to the E 350 but adds several unique touches. One difference is that the E 450 can come as a sedan, coupe, convertible, or wagon.
Those who purchase this trim will also find a unique turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine under the hood that produces 362 horsepower and 369 pounds of torque. Also, this trim comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is optional for those who purchase the coupe or convertible variant.
AMG E 53
Last but by no means least is the highest trim for the E-Class, the AMG E 53. This trim which can come as a sedan, coupe, or convertible, ups the E-Class's performance and style by offering a more powerful six-cylinder engine that produces 429 horsepower and 384 pounds of torque. As for its features, this trim boasts several that Morehead City and New Bern locals are sure to love, such as an augmented reality navigation view, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and more.
