Trims

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is a small sedan and comes in two available trims. Depending on what a Southport or Hampstead, NC driver chooses to buy, they'll find very different features and power trains. The two trims for this model include:

Mercedes-Benz A 220

As the base trim, the A220 comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and can reach 188 horsepower and 221 pounds of torque. Found throughout the cabin are a myriad of features such as a panoramic sunroof, a seven-inch touchscreen display, customizable ambient cabin lighting, and much more.

In terms of safety features, Merced-Benz has added multiple advanced driving aids such as a blind-spot monitor and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. These features are great for drivers who traverse the highway or the city streets.

Mercedes-Benz AMG A 35

The second and last trim available for the A-Class model is the AMG A 35, and this trim comes outfitted with a similar powertrain to the previous trim. The difference is that in this trim, New Bern and Morehead City drives will find that all-wheel drive is standard, and the engine has been upgraded to produce 302 horsepower and 295 pounds of torque.

Besides a more powerful engine and all-wheel drive, the AMG A 35 adds unique features such as 18-inch AMG wheels, a sport suspension, a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, and a larger driver information display.
